Job title: Account Manager - Belgium

Department: Sales

Reporting To: Sales Director

Salary: 55k basic OTE 75k

Summary:

Discover, develop and grow the business into the assigned territory, handle incoming enquiries, provide technical advice and quotations to customers and maximise the conversion of quotations into orders. Develop and be actively involved outbound proactively campaigns, to proactively contact and visit customers with a view to generating additional business for the Company.

Key Activities:

Sales manager representing the businesses responsible for the sales of services in the assigned territory. The primary responsibility of the role is to independently & cooperatively develop, sell and support new business opportunities for the portfolio of services. This will include but is not limited to:

  • -Make a significant contribution to the sales team by supporting customers commercially and technically
  • -Research, develop and close new business
  • -Work across the sales teams to develop and implement a business plan for key areas (in-line with the strategy set out)
  • -Develop good customer relationships through excellent customer service
  • -Proactively contact and visit customers to develop new business
  • -Responding to inbound customer requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • -Maintaining the sales funnel to achieve the sales target
  • -Maintaining up-to-date activity log and customer details in SFDC.
  • -Cooperating & collaborating with the sales team and our partners on all of the above
  • Ensure targets are achieved

Essential Skills:

  • -Previous sales experience
  • -Good business sense
  • -Demonstrate a process for developing new business
  • -A responsible and professional approach when engaging with customers, internal colleagues and external suppliers.
  • -Excellent communication skills
  • -Self-motivated
  • -Ability to progress and close sales opportunities through the use of prospecting, engaging, qualifying, negotiating and time management.
  • -A strong desire to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction in all customer interactions.
  • -A strong commitment to team working with the external supplier network and the internal departments
  • -Think creatively and contribute to all aspects of the business.
  • -Be IT Competent

Any knowledge of test & measurement equipment and its applications in testing RF components, wireless, digital electronics, semiconductor, optical components and network test would be an advantage.
