Who are we IPS is an international company with inhouse Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.

Now we are looking for a Safety Engineer in our office in Belgium
Responsibilities
- He / she shall be able to work in safety engineering projects.
- Documentation related to Safety: Risk analyses safety studies and reports site visits meeting reports specific studies:
Safety Engineering:
- Fire Safety prevention and protection legal conformity with Belgian legislation (RD fire prevention )
- Experience in performing different types of Risk analyses
- ATEX
- HAZOP
- SIL
- Machine Safety certification especially complex machines
- Environmental Safety
- Seveso: LOPA SIL
- PED
Requirements
- Safetyoriented certificate (master in safety & environmental management or similar) or proven relevant experience.
- 10 years Experience in Safety related tasks.
- Experience and/or Knowledge in HSE legislation (Health Safety and Environment) in Belgium and especially applicable to industrial projects. You are competent in at least some of the safety engineering skills as mentioned above.
- Willing to learn
- Fluent English French and Dutch.
- Microsoft Office indepth knowledge with an emphasis on Excel skills
- Technical competences:
- ATEX
- Building Related Safety
- PRocess Related Safety
- Machine Safety Certification
- Environmental Safety (BE)
