We are looking for a professional relief Pharmacist to work at a Retail Pharmacy near Alberta, Canada. Experience a warm sense to the community filled with exceptional offerings of nature, as well as within the Alberta boarder. Get to experience a close-knit community, with a great volume of outdoor activity, perfect for unwinding after a workday. For those travelling out of town, travel and accommodations can be provided.
You will be accountable for regular clinical duties, checking prescriptions for accuracy in a timely manner. Proficient with Kroll knowledge is an asset. Injection certification is preferred as job can include administering Flu shots, or the Covid vaccine. This assignment will start October 1st till end of January. With shifts available of your choosing between Monday to Friday starting at 9:00am to 6:00pm, or 3:00pm to 11:00pm. No weekends.

Your principal responsibilities include the following:
Dispense tablets, liquids, ointments, powders as prescribed
Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy in dosage, needed ingredients, suitability for patients
Provide information on the use and effects of medications as well as potential drug interactions
Keep records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, inventories, and registries of drugs
Work alongside other healthcare professionals such as members of the team, interactions with nurses and doctors
Provide a professional and safe environment for customers and pharmacy staff
Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs if necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
Experience and proficiency with Kroll are an asset
A minimum of one year experience in a busy pharmacy setting is a strong asset
High level of interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
