Role Description:
Front end sample preparation routine lysing and cleaning DNA. Sample registering and scanning of samples. Making buffers when required. Quality control of incoming samples
Requirements
Prepare buffers, materials as required for analytical procedures
General Housekeeping
Assisting routine processing of test samples and associated electronic information
Lysing and cleaning DNA samples
Scanning of sample, Sample quality checks
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in using multi-channel pipettes
Previous experience in an ISO accredited laboratory
Exceptional attention to detail
Familiarity with a manufacturing or production line environment
Ability to work independently and to daily targets
Experience in DNA clean up and preparation preferred, not essential
Work as part of a team to achieve common goals
Fast learner
Degree/Diploma in Science Biology or Molecular Biology
