Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BMC Helix Data Manager (HDM) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in installation configuration and end-to-end data migration between source and target environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of data discovery mapping transformation and migration pack customization working closely with BMC Helix ITSM administrators to ensure reliable and consistent data movement across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and administer BMC Helix Data Manager (HDM) for migration activities.

Perform data discovery mapping export transform and import between source and target systems.

Customize and manage Migration Packs templates and mappings to meet project requirements.

Ensure data integrity referential consistency and transformation logic across environments.

Configure and apply HDM qualifications for forms and child forms.

Collaborate with Helix ITSM admins to prepare systems for migration and troubleshoot issues.

Define best practices and recommend automation/tooling to optimize the migration process.

Validate migration results through reconciliation and data verification.

Support migration across Development Test UAT and Production environments.

Document migration procedures mapping logic and configuration for audit and reuse.

Required Skills & Experience:

4 years of experience in BMC Helix Data Manager (HDM) implementation and data migration.

Strong hands-on experience in HDM installation and configuration.

Expertise in:

Data discovery and mapping

Migration packs and templates

Data transformation rules

Handling parent/child form qualifications

Good understanding of BMC Helix ITSM data model and forms structure.

Experience ensuring referential integrity across complex data sets.

Troubleshooting HDM migration errors and performance issues.

Knowledge of AR System forms relationships and qualifications.

Ability to work with stakeholders to gather migration requirements.
