TheDevelopment Coordination Authority (DCA)has been established to strengthen how NSW Government agencies work together within the development assessment system. Acting as a central coordination point for agency advice the Authority will streamline referral processes resolve issues earlier and deliver clearer more consistent input to consent authoritiessupporting faster better-informed planning outcomes across NSW.
Joining the DCA presents a unique opportunity to help shape and embed a new operating model for planning coordination contributing directly to system reform and the delivery of housing infrastructure and sustainable communities across the State.
The role
This role plays a key behindthescenes part in keeping the Development Coordination Authority running smoothly. Youll provide highlevel business and administrative support across governance meetings and communications. Helping leaders and members stay focused on informed decisionmaking that shapes planning outcomes for NSW communities.
Its a fastpaced environment where priorities can shift quickly confidential matters are common and clear judgement really counts. Youll juggle competing demands coordinate sensitive briefings and correspondence and find practical solutions where processes dont always exist all while building strong relationships and keeping things accurate efficient and on track

What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated highlevel communication skills with the ability to prepare clear concise written materials and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyse issues and solve problems applying sound judgement and adaptability in complex and evolving environments.
- Extensive administrative capability including managing competing priorities coordinating multiple tasks and delivering outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent ability to maintain accuracy and quality across highvolume and confidential workload demands.
What is an essential requirement:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint Excel Word)
Eligibility Eligible employees are required to be at-grade or at an equivalent level; and either ongoing public service employees or fixed term employees who have been comparatively assessed at-grade.
