Job Summary
A busy family in Lincoln Park is seeking a proactive experienced Family Assistant to support daily household operations. This role combines hands-on housekeeping with light household management. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and able to anticipate needs ensuring the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with morning routine and getting children ready for school
- Prepare simple meals and childrens lunches
- Family laundry and wardrobe organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of main living areas
- Make beds and manage general tidying
- Handle grocery ordering pickup and stocking
- Manage Amazon orders and returns
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and service providers
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Trustworthy reliable and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in a home with children
- Tech-savvy (online ordering scheduling etc.)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Strong references from previous employers
Schedule: MondayFriday 30 hours per week Morning start ending around 1:30 PM
Salary: $35$45 per hour
