Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care within a dynamic medical practice environment.
In this role you will provide essential anesthesia care in a variety of surgical settings ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
- Assess patients medical histories and conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
- Stay updated on best practices and advances in anesthesia techniques
Requirements
- Associate degree in Anesthesia or Nursing
- Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) or CRNA
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Experience in a variety of surgical procedures preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Level I Trauma
- Schedule: 7a-5p 4 days per week
- No call or weekend shifts
- Patient Volume: 15 per day
- Case Types: Adult bread & butter
- 4:1 medical supervision
- EMR: Epic
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
