About the Role

We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Portales NM. This role is with a rural healthcare organization and supports both inpatient and outpatient therapy services with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy services in inpatient and outpatient settings
Support mobility strength balance functional recovery and independence
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises mobility and safety techniques
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
Complete accurate and timely documentation in Meditech

Requirements

Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license required
BLS/BCLS certification required
Physical Therapist experience preferred
Newer therapists may be considered
Inpatient or outpatient therapy experience preferred
Meditech experience preferred
Strong communication documentation and patient care skills
Ability to work day shift 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
