Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Parkersburg WV
Duration: 7 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (AP)
Hours: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
30 Minute Meal Break
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care support patient wellbeing and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
Assist with daily patient care and activities of daily living
Collaborate with RNs physicians and interdisciplinary staff
Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Support a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements:
Active LPN License in good standing required
Strong communication and patient care skills required
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment required
Preferred:
Current BLS Certification preferred
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
