Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a union position at a mission-driven non-profit organization operating federally qualified health centers. This role focuses on ensuring healthcare access for all through primary care behavioral health and health education services.

Qualifications:
- Education: Certificate from an accredited practical nurse program
- Licensure: Current NY State LPN license and registration
- Experience: 1-2 years in an ambulatory setting preferred
- Technical Skills: Venipuncture medication administration immunizations basic computer proficiency including typing
- Soft Skills:
- Strong clinical communication interpersonal and organizational skills; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to organize care and activities of multiple patients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Administer medications treatments and wound care under RN supervision.
- Monitor and document patient conditions vital signs and progress.
- Assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs therapists and physicians.
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care medications and recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records including medication logs and shift reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection control safety protocols and facility policies.
- Provide emotional support and advocate for the patients needs during rehabilitation.
