Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide in-home support to clients inWhitmore Lake MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring safely around the home.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitoring.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry cleaning and organizing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and family members regarding client care and any concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred but not needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and mobility assistance.
- Reliable compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Must pass background check.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
