About the Team:

The Finance Services division provides high quality financial services to the University community under the portfolio of the Chief Financial Officer that support achievement of objectives in the Universitys strategic plan.

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic financial and technical accountant to manage the Universitys asset registers and accounting processes across their full lifecycle. You will oversee asset policies procedures and internal controls collaborate with stakeholders and deliver timely asset and financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.

Position Key Duties:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide expert financial and technical advice on assets such as capital projects and Software as a Service arrangements.
  • Delivering timely asset management and reporting.
  • Manage depreciation budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision making and financial planning.

This role operates under a hybrid working model requiring attendance in the office 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days worked remotely.
