Asset Officer

About The Role:

As an Asset Officer you will support the delivery of strong data-driven asset management outcomes across the City of Charles Sturt. Working closely with Asset Managers and the Asset Data Quality team you will help maintain accurate asset registers support asset planning and reporting and ensure asset data is reliable consistent and fit for decisionmaking.

Success in this role means contributing to high-quality asset information that supports capital planning long-term financial planning and sustainable service delivery for our community.

About You:

You are organised analytical and comfortable working with data in a complex environment. You bring a collaborative mindset and enjoy supporting others with accurate and timely information.

You will also have:

• Experience working with asset data asset management systems or infrastructure-related information
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain accurate records and registers
• Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Sound time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A positive proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
• An understanding of asset lifecycles capital works and asset management principles
• Proven experience in asset management including the management of assets planning and completing asset data audits
• Sound understanding of Asset Management lifecycle principles
• Advanced skills in data integrity quality control and assurance.
• Proven experience in interrogating asset data and producing high quality reports about asset condition value remaining useful life KPIs and other asset attributes.

Asset Solutions delivers asset management services across the City using data and insights to ensure Councils infrastructure and assets are managed sustainably and cost-effectively. The team works collaboratively across the organisation to support asset planning capital delivery and longterm financial decision-making.

The Detail:

The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is classified at Level 5 with a starting salary of $103798.21 per annum Super Annual Leave Loading.
