Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Manager Contract Administration to join our Contracts Administration & Sales Support Team based in Grand Prairie TX.
In this role you will manage all aspects of Contract Administration for assigned contracts working closely with the Program Office and Sales team. Responsible for terms and conditions review and analysis contract drafting support to negotiations review and response to Requests for Proposals defining and initiating estimate requests review and approval of the Cost of Sales Analysis (CSA) and final preparation of binding Purchase Agreements.

Your Challenges:
Contract Management: 40%
Balance multiple contracts and ensure contractual obligations and financial reporting requirements are satisfied
Generate and maintain contract documentation and acquire approvals as required
Ensure the program teams are aware of contract requirements from program startup through execution
Provide support and assistance to Program Managers in achieving financial and performance goals and objectives
Ensure any changes to requirements scope or schedule are addressed with Program Management and the customer and detailed appropriately through contract amendments
Support customer aircraft deliveries to include preparation of contractual delivery documentation and working with financial institutions for payment
Develop maintain and improve contract database reporting and metrics
Contract Negotiations: 30%
Initial review and mark-up of terms and conditions
Independently prepare review and modify contractual documents including Purchase Agreements Contract Amendments Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) etc.
Provide support to the Sr. Director Commercial Offers and Contracts to interpret terms and conditions and contractual requirements as needed. (e.g. FARs DFARS & other regulations)
Support and/or lead contract negotiations achieving reasonable and equitable cost and profit objectives
Offers and Proposal Development: 30%
Prepare requests for price estimates for development of CSA
Perform risk assessment of price estimates and contract terms and conditions and develop strategies to minimize potential financial and contractual risks to the business
Present financial impact and contract terms to executive management for review and approval as required
Ensure Sales team has up-to-date airframe pricing and approved configurations
Provide oversight and input to the preparation of responses to formal solicitations (e. g. Sources Sought RFIs RFQs RFPs) as well as informal solicitations (e.g. quote requests unsolicited proposals etc.)
Develop themes and strategies to improve competitive position
Review offer/proposal submission for executive management consideration and approval
Additional Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned:
Import & export aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration
Support and register aircraft on the International Registry
Support Finance with monthly financial reporting as required
Assist Director in the management and administration of department activities
Serve as backup to Director for the Contract Administration Department when Director is unavailable.

Your Boarding Pass:
Required:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience
Up to 5% to 10% Domestic and International Travel
Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Detailed knowledge of and experience with commercial contracting requirements
Must be capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks with potentially overlapping priorities
Strong analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills dynamic and highly team-oriented
Ability to think strategically and independently
Ability to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Ability to work effectively with customer and cross functional team members

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications including Word Adobe Acrobat Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Finance or Program Management and/or Juris Doctor
Experience in aviation/aerospace
Familiarity with DoD/Federal/State/Local Government Acquisition processes
Advanced training in finance marketing product analysis and helicopter applications
National Contract Management Association certification
Active/valid passport
Strong business insight
Experience with SalesForce
Physical Requirements:
Onsite or remote: 60% except when on travel.
Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens able to read documents reports and engineering drawings. Required daily
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Required daily
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings deliver information and participate in communications. Required daily.
Equipment Operation (personal computer telephone copies fax machine and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Required daily.
Carrying: able to carry documents tools drawings electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs. Daily
Lifting: able to lift documents tools drawings electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs. Daily
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Rarely required
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings working on the computer. Required daily
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Required infrequently
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Required daily
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. 5% - 10%
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Required daily
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes but is not limited to Safety Shoes Safety Glasses Hearing Protection Respirators/Masks and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
