Our client operates a unique rural early childhood education centre in Palmerston North offering nature and animal-based learning in a peaceful country setting. About The Opportunity

• Lead the daily operations of a full-time permanent early childhood centre
• Grow enrolments and maintain strong occupancy levels across the centre
• Build strong relationships with families whānau and the wider community
• Promote the centres rural nature-based and animal-focused learning environment
• Maintain compliance with ECE regulations licensing and health and safety requirements
• Lead mentor and support a passionate teaching team while supporting Te Whāriki-aligned programmes

About You

• Experience growing occupancy and engaging with families
• A fully registered ECE teaching qualification in New Zealand
• Confident communication organisation and relationship-building skills
• Strong understanding of ECE regulations and operational requirements
• Experience in ECE leadership centre management or enrolment-focused roles
• Passion for early childhood education nature-based learning and environmental care
