Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care
Location: Grand Junction CO
Duration: 8 Weeks Contract
Shift: Variable Night Shift 12 Hour Shifts
Hours: 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care assignment in a skilled nursing facility environment. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care and support residents while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents according to care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records
Support infection control and patient safety standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
Active LPN license in Colorado or compact state required
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Strong clinical and communication skills required
Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment required
Preferred:
LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred
