Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Gardendale AL
Duration: 10 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care administer medications monitor patient conditions and support the nursing team in maintaining a safe and effective healthcare environment during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
Monitor patient conditions vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
Collaborate with RNs CNAs physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
Ensure compliance with infection control patient safety and facility regulations
Requirements:
Active LPN License required
Strong clinical communication and patient care skills required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required
Preferred:
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
