Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Albuquerque NM
Duration: 5 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care administer medications monitor patient conditions and support interdisciplinary healthcare teams in delivering exceptional patient care in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Monitor patient conditions vital signs and report any changes to supervising nurses or physicians
Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
Collaborate with CNAs RNs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Ensure compliance with infection control safety standards and facility regulations
Requirements:
Active LPN License required
Strong patient care communication and clinical assessment skills required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting required
Preferred:
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
