Location: Gifford IL
Contract Type: Long Term Care Assignment
Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment in Gifford Illinois. This is an immediate opening for a skilled nursing professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced patient care environment and providing compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Long Term Care environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor assess and document patient conditions accurately
- Collaborate with nurses physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain timely and accurate charting using PCC documentation systems
- Support resident safety comfort and quality of care initiatives
Requirements
- Active LPN License
- Previous Long Term Care (LTC) or Nursing Home experience preferred
- Experience with PCC charting systems is a plus
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work scheduled weekends as required
