Job Summary
A fast-growing retail business is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a strong understanding of financial processes reconciliations reporting and operational finance support.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage supplier payments in line with agreed payment terms
- Process bi-weekly payment runs and credit card top-ups
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and management
- Capture and reconcile cashbooks and banking transactions
- Process customer refunds for both online and in-store purchases
- Prepare weekly reports on damages expiries and price changes
- Assist with month-end processing accruals and reconciliations
- Support finance-related projects and ad-hoc operational tasks
- Assist with audit preparation and finance administration
- 24 years experience in a financial accounting role
- Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting or related qualification
- Strong accounting and reconciliation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organisational and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Deadline-driven with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable with an office based role
