Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Accounting / Finance Degree
- SAICA articles completed preferred
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- Strong experience in general ledger accounting
- IFS ERP system experience is ESSENTIAL
- Strong IFRS knowledge and application
- Specialist-level technical accounting ability
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Full general ledger accounting function
- Month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations and account substantiation
- IFRS compliance and technical accounting application
- Journal processing accruals and provisions
- Fixed asset accounting and inter-company transactions
- Financial analysis and variance reporting
- Managing audit preparation and audit queries
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within IFS
