Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Delivery & Governance Manager to lead large-scale SAP transformation programs including S/4HANA implementations and upgrades.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own end-to-end delivery drive governance and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes aligned to business goals.

Delivery Ownership & Governance

  • Own and drive end-to-end SAP program delivery (S/4HANA ECC BW SuccessFactors Ariba etc.)
  • Ensure delivery within scope timeline cost and quality benchmarks
  • Establish strong governance frameworks reporting cadence and escalation mechanisms

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface between business IT leadership and vendors
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and client sponsors
  • Communicate project status risks and mitigation strategies proactively

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead multiple workstreams:
    • Functional (FICO MM SD etc.)
    • Technical
    • Integration & Data Migration
    • Testing & Cutover
  • Ensure adherence to Agile / Activate / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies
  • Manage dependencies across SAP and external systems

Team & Resource Management

  • Lead global cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore/partners)
  • Drive high performance accountability and collaboration
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization

Financial & Commercial Oversight

  • Manage program budgets forecasts and financial performance
  • Track effort consumption billing milestones and change requests
  • Ensure alignment with contracts SLAs and KPIs

Risk Issue & Change Management

  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks
  • Drive structured change control and scope management
  • Clearly articulate business impact and mitigation plans

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure high solution quality through:
    • Design reviews
    • Testing oversight
    • Formal sign-offs
  • Enforce SAP best practices and compliance standards
  • Maintain audit readiness and documentation

Go-Live & Hypercare

  • Oversee cutover planning and deployment activities
  • Ensure smooth transition to hypercare and support teams
  • Drive post-go-live stability and issue resolution

Continuous Improvement & Value Realization

  • Identify opportunities to optimize delivery and reduce costs
  • Track business outcomes and value realization
  • Promote reuse of accelerators and best practice

Qualifications :

Must-Have Experience

  • Atleast 12 years in SAP delivery/program management
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP programs (preferably S/4HANA)
  • Hands-on experience managing:
    • Multi-workstream programs
    • Large distributed teams
    • Senior stakeholders (CXO-level)

SAP Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
    • SAP S/4HANA (1909/2020/2021/RISE)
    • Core modules: FICO MM SD PP EWM PM PS QM
  • Exposure to:
    • SAP Fiori / UI5
    • BTP APIs integrations (PI/PO IDOC EDI)
    • Tools like Ariba MDG VIM SuccessFactors

(Certification in at least one SAP module preferred)
