A well-established engineering and infrastructure firm is seeking a professionally registered Pr. Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with proven experience in powerline and substation design within the utilities or infrastructure sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Registration as Pr Eng (ECSA) Non-negotiable
Minimum 5 years experience in powerline and substation design
Strong understanding of Eskom and municipal standards
Proficiency in relevant design software and power system analysis tools
Valid drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee HV and MV powerline and substation projects
Develop detailed engineering designs specifications and drawings
Perform load flow studies and protection coordination
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Liaise with clients contractors and project stakeholders
Support project delivery within scope time and budget constraints
