Program Manager Provider Onboarding and Retention
Position Purpose:
The Program Manager Provider Onboarding & Retention is responsible for the design execution and continuous improvement of onboarding and retention programs for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role ensures a seamless transition from hire to practice integration while developing strategies that enhance provider engagement satisfaction and long-term retention. The Program Manager partners closely with recruitment credentialing operations medical staff leadership and human resources to deliver a consistent high-quality provider experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare administration human resources business administration or a related field. Masters Degree or equivalent business degree with clinical experience preferred.
- License / Certification: As required by discipline
- Experience: 5 years of experience in healthcare operations provider onboarding provider relations HR or program management; experience in physician or APP onboarding retention or medical staff operations familiarity with credentialing licensing and medical staff processes and experience working in a matrixed healthcare organization
- Effective communication skills
