As a Locum NP or PA you will play a crucial role in our emergency department delivering high-quality medical services to patients in need. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive timely and effective care. Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients in an emergency setting
- Provide comprehensive treatment plans and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Perform procedures as required in emergency medicine
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with medical regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license
- Experience in emergency medicine is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
