An opportunity is available for a hands-on BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR within a FMCG production facility based in Northern KZN and responsible for maintaining infrastructure facilities and general site operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee general maintenance of buildings facilities and site infrastructure
- Manage maintenance team (repairs painting brickwork plumbing drainage)
- Ensure upkeep of production and non-production areas
- Conduct preventative maintenance planning
- Coordinate repairs and contractor activities
- Maintain compliance with safety and facility standards
- Assist with facility upgrades and improvements
- Monitor tools equipment and maintenance stock
- Support operational teams with maintenance-related requirements
- Assist with solar / energy infrastructure (advantageous exposure)
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Trade / Technical background (Building / Maintenance / Facilities)
- 5 years experience in industrial / FMCG plant maintenance
- Experience managing maintenance teams
- Basic electrical / plumbing / building repair knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on capability
- Ability to work in operational production environments
- Stable employment history essential

- Local residency or relocation required
