- Lead and manage the full supply chain function including procurement expediting logistics and warehousing
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines and business objectives
- Source evaluate and manage local and international suppliers and subcontractors
- Negotiate contracts pricing and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Drive supplier performance compliance and quality assurance
- Collaborate closely with engineering project management and finance teams
- Monitor market trends risks and opportunities within the supply chain
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations policies and industry standards
- Optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency
- Lead and mentor a supply chain team
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Engineering or related field
- 710 years experience in supply chain or procurement within an engineering EPC or industrial environment
- Proven leadership experience managing supply chain teams
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with international sourcing and logistics
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Advantageous:
- Experience in mining minerals processing or heavy engineering projects
- Exposure to project-based procurement environments
- Professional certifications (e.g. CIPS)
