Job Summary
A leading technology-driven organisation in the insurance and digital services space is seeking an experienced Lead QA (Quality Assurance Manager) to drive quality governance testing strategy and delivery excellence across multiple development teams.
The Lead QA will be responsible for overseeing the full QA function ensuring that testing is planned executed tracked and delivered on time across multiple squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Own QA delivery planning tracking and execution across teams
- Define and enforce QA strategy governance and quality standards
- Establish release readiness criteria and go/no-go decision frameworks
- Manage QA Leads (manual and automation streams)
- Oversee defect management reporting and risk escalation
- Provide clear QA reporting to engineering and business stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve upstream quality
- Ensure alignment between testing development and release cycles
Requirements
- 35 years experience in QA or Quality Engineering roles
- Strong background in manual and automated testing (including UAT)
- Experience in Agile delivery environments and SDLC processes
- Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira TestRail Xray Zephyr or similar
- At least 12 years experience in a leadership or coordination role
- Experience in managing QA delivery across multiple teams
