• Planning organizing and overseeing all aspects of the institutes activities
• Managing the institutes budget and resources
• Supervising academic and research staff and employees of the institute including regular evaluations
• Teaching and scientific research activities in the field
• Ensuring high quality of teaching and mentoring students
• Supporting research activities and securing grants for the institute
• Collaborating with other departments

What do we expect from you

• Higher education - at least a Ph.D. in landscape architecture forestry nature and landscape protection or a related field; associate professor or professor title is an advantage
• Excellent active knowledge of Czech knowledge of English for teaching and publication purposes
• Documented research activities in landscape architecture forestry nature and landscape protection or related fields experience with publishing in journals with IF and leading research projects at both domestic and international levels
• Ability to navigate labor law regulations and economic rules of operation in higher education
• Organizational managerial and communication skills
• Predisposition for teamwork as well as independent work
• Personal and professional prerequisites for teaching activities
• Willingness to work on further personal development and professional growth
