Spotter

This is a spotter role at a Midlothian VA facility working night shift. The Spotter is responsible for lift safety support observing while technicians work from or operate aerial lifts and assisting with other site tasks as needed throughout the shift. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the site and your own PPE.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe and spot for technicians while they work from or operate aerial lifts
• Monitor surroundings to identify and prevent hazards during lift operations
• Assist the electrical team with general site support tasks as directed by the team lead
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness in an active facility environment
• Communicate clearly with lift operators team members and site personnel throughout the shift
• Follow all safety requirements set by the company the customer and OSHA at every shift
• Maintain consistent attendance excessive or unnecessary absences will lead to replacement

Required Qualifications

• Reliable personal transportation to and from the Midlothian VA jobsite
• Available to work the night shift window of 9pm to 7am for the full 11-week duration
• Comfortable working in an active construction and facility environment
• Dependable punctual and able to follow safety and site-access protocols consistently
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Must provide own PPE: Class E Rated Hard Hat Safety-Toed Boots Safety Glasses Hi-Vis Vest or Shirt

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial site support role
• Familiarity with basic jobsite safety practices and PPE requirements
• Comfortable working around lift equipment and aerial work operations

Compensation and Project Details

• Pay rate: $16 to $18 per hour based on experience
• Start date is AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
• Duration: 11 weeks
• Shift: 9pm to 7am (NIGHTS)
