Job Summary
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of project plans for multiple projects at any given time that result in the completion of projects at or below cost targets while meeting or exceeding goals for safety completion time and customer satisfaction. The project manager would manage installations of commercial HVAC equipment including chillers packaged units split systems VRF air handlers boilers pumping systems cooling towers starters/VFDs/controls and more.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Management of budget schedule quality and technical performance of assigned project(s)
Strong written verbal and leadership skills
Review design drawings shop drawings and notify field of changes/issues
Ability to read analyze and understand design specifications submittals and contracts
Create and maintain project schedules
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Communicate with mechanical/electrical/structural engineers
Provide regular updates to the projects team and management on work performed plans budget and overall status
Manpower planning scheduling and training to ensure adequate availability of skilled labor to complete major projects within committed budget/time/scope for multiple projects
Oversee and coordinate manpower on job sites
Follow and enforce site safety requirements
Identification and selection of subcontractors
Coordinate purchase and delivery of material and equipment to job sites
Implement risk management techniques
Assist in developing project estimates
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (engineering preferred) from four-year college/university with additional HVAC experience or 2-year degree with 5 years additional HVAC experience
Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical background familiarity with HVAC design and installation
Commitment to safety
Strong computer skills (Word Excel Project Lotus Notes etc.); AutoCAD skills are a bonus
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Valid drivers license

The salary range for this position is 90K to 130K depending on experience Incentive.
