Job Title: Elementary and Middle School Summer School Secretary
Reports to: Summer School Administrator on site
Salary: Position hourly rate will be paid at the current hourly rate of successful candidate(s) rate of pay
Position Summary:
The Summer School Secretary is responsible for communicating with and providing customer service to students parents staff community and/or outside agencies or vendors to meet district needs; performing a wide range of office tasks (telephone on-site reception filing distribution of materials etc.); preparing and processing a variety of documents invoices orders etc.; processing a variety of district state and/or federal documents; and inputting of data into computer (student financial and budget).
Dates:
Prep & Set-up - June 22-25
Summer School Session - June 29 - July 30 2026 (Monday-Thursday)
5.0 hours per day from7:45 a.m. 12:45 p.m.
4.0 hoursafter school hours on July 30
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years previous secretarial experience in K-12 education system required
- Experience using PC computer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Gmail and WESPaC software required
- Must be detail-minded organized and have a commitment to customer service
- Experience and/or training with cultural ethnic and language diversity preferred
- Must have previously completed all district required training
Selection Process:
A district representative will notify selected applicant(s) of placement. Placements will be made based on seniority.
