About the Role A fast-paced Brooklyn-based commercial real estate brokerage is looking for a sharp detail-oriented Loan Processor to join their growing team. Youll own the loan process from submission through closing keeping files organized stakeholders aligned and deals moving without missing a beat. If youre someone who thrives under pressure communicates clearly and never lets the details slip this role has real upside with commission on deals sourced.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Processing & Documentation
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Collect organize and verify borrower documentation and financial information
- Submit complete loan files to underwriting and clear any outstanding conditions
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with loan officers underwriters title companies and borrowers throughout the process
- Order appraisals title reports and other third-party documents
- Provide consistent updates to clients and internal teams from submission to close
Compliance & Pipeline Management
- Ensure all loans meet company investor and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate records in loan origination systems (LOS)
- Manage multiple files simultaneously while hitting deadlines
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle a high-volume pipeline
- Excellent attention to detail and file management
- Clear communicator with solid follow-up instincts
- Ability to review financial documents and identify discrepancies
- Previous experience in loan processing or commercial real estate is a plus
- Quick learner who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Compensation: $75K$85K base salary with commission on self-sourced deals.
