Position OutputsDuring project execution update the Project Execution Plan (where necessary) to ensure that all assumptions and constraints are still valid and that the stated approach is reflective of the current project and/or drive feasibility studies vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholdersComplete the appropriate risk-assessment (quantitative / qualitative) for the project. Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activitiesMaintain structural engineering work procedures specifications and computer aided design programsPrepare engineering calculationsPrepare and contribute to technical memos and reports within areas of expertiseProvide input to engineering operating and capital cost estimatesPrepare and/or review project standard specifications and design criteriaParticipate in and contribute to design reviews
Carry out assigned tasks within budget and scheduleLead in defining project scope and assist in preparing proposalsReview and evaluate technical work prepared by junior engineers intermediate engineers designers technicians and technologistsAssist in the compilation and delivery of monthly engineering status reports. Support technical teams in project delivery including health and safety Construction personnel and project delivery
Responsible for the technical output and financial in interdisciplinary review of project deliverablesOverseeing Service delivery / costs (Electricity supply disputes resolutions/Accounts billing issues/incorrect statement / new supply services/termination of service)Attending to all breakdowns in the plant with the replacement of worn and damaged components and support production with reinstating equipment jig fixtures and testing equipment to the intended operational state.

Position PurposeThe main purpose of the position is totake ownership of Electrical engineering site works in the region and advise onelectrical installation replacement and refurbishment projects.
