Duties & Responsibilities
A large international pump manufacturing company is seeking a highly organised and technically capable Field Service Coordinator to manage the planning scheduling and administrative coordination of field service activities for vacuum pumps and blowers. The role ensures efficient service planning proper preparation for site work and strong communication with customers.
The successful candidate will combine strong organisational and
communication skills with a basic technical understanding of vacuum pumps and rotating equipment. The role may also include co-ordinating field service technicians to ensure services are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Technical qualification preferred: National Diploma in Electrical
Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or qualified Millwright
trade
- 8-15 years experience in service coordination service
administration or technical support
- Proven experience coordinating and managing field service
technicians in an industrial/mechanical environment
- Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment such as
pumps compressors blowers valves measuring
instrumentation leak detectors vacuum pumps and related
equipment
- Experience in industries such as Food Processing Automotive
Chemical Pharma Plastics Medical Water and Waste Water will
be advantageous
- Must have experience in booking planning and coordinating field
service activities including alignment with internal teams and
external supply chain partners
- Able to prepare service quotations coordinate parts availability with
operations and ensure smooth execution of field service work
- Strong client communication organisation and computer
literacy required
- Practical field service experience will be advantageous to provide
sound understanding of site requirements
- Good route planning and scheduling capability essential
- Managing CRM Field Service Tool
For this role the ideal candidate should have a strong technical
background the ability to lead service coordination with customers and the skills to ensure technicians provide a high standard service.
