What Were Looking For Detroit Recovery Project (DRP) is seeking a Youth Recovery & Services Support Coordinator to support day-to-day youth programming through direct community-based support and program coordination. This role ensures services are delivered effectively documentation is accurate and program goals are met. Compensation - This position is supported through grant funding and based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience
- Pay Rate: $21.63/hour
- Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime)
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct support and engagement to individuals within the community
- Link participants to services including housing treatment medical and employment resources
- Support daily program operations and ensure alignment with program goals and timelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including service notes and required reports
- Enter data into designated systems (tablet/iPad or EHR) during or following client interactions
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support referrals and program sustainability
- Ensure adherence to agency policies procedures and evidence-based practices
- Support team coordination efforts including communication and ongoing feedback
- Participate in meetings trainings and community events as required
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling including occasional evenings or weekends
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in substance use disorder (SUD) behavioral health or related field
- Lived experience with SUD or behavioral health strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Detroit-area resources related to SUD and mental health services
- MCBAP and/or MDHHS certifications preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse and vulnerable populations in a trauma-informed manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid Michigan Drivers License reliable transportation and proof of insurance required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or electronic health record systems
