As a Locum MD in Gastroenterology you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
- Perform endoscopic procedures as necessary
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and wellness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in Gastroenterology or related field
- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: 7:30a-4p
Daily Volume: 10-12 scopes
Cases: Scope backlog and call coverage
3 endo suites
Support Staff: APPs anesthesiologists CRNAs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
