Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with urological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families about urological health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in urology
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
- Previous experience in Urology preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice
Schedule: 8-hour shifts 2 weeks per month
Clinic and call coverage
Patient Volume: 15 per shift
Case Types: Kidney stones prostate biopsies lithotripsy radical prostatectomy bladder lesions radical nephrectomy bladder lifts circumcisions cytoscopes with dilation etc.
Some robotics required
Support Staff: 1 RN 1 MA
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
