Pay: $71K-$100K
Day Shift
This role performs and leads design and layout work across multiple major projects simultaneously supporting each phase from concept through installation. The position converts technical requirements into detailed drawings ERP records and manufacturing documentation while ensuring quality continuity and continuous improvement throughout the design and production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate specifications sales orders and technical data into detailed drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Generate ERP records parts lists and requisitions to drive production demands
- Perform engineering calculations instrument sizing and technical documentation
- Review customer specifications calculations and design output to ensure quality and compliance
- Provide technical support to manufacturing assembly testing and production teams
- Identify scope changes estimate impact and communicate deviations appropriately
- Maintain document control procedures and apply lessons learned to future projects
- Support design manufacturability functionality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and other technical disciplines
- Travel up to 15% (including international) as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Engineering Technology or related field
- 24 years of design-related experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor
- Knowledge of ASME standards and engineering principles
- Strong understanding of fabrication methods mechanical systems and material characteristics
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
