About the Role
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Manager Society of Fellows to support the growth and success of the museums premier individual membership program.
In this role youll help bring the Society of Fellows experience to lifesupporting membership growth coordinating engaging events and building meaningful connections with members and volunteer leaders. Working closely with Development leadership youll play a key role in delivering high-quality programs and communications that contribute to fundraising success and member engagement.
What Youll Do
- Support Membership Growth: Implement strategies for member acquisition renewal and retention including coordinating monthly campaigns and outreach efforts
- Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Plan and execute events and engagement opportunities that enhance the member experience and strengthen relationships
- Coordinate Volunteer Engagement: Support the Society of Fellows Board by organizing meetings preparing materials and maintaining strong relationships with volunteer leaders
- Drive Effective Communications: Draft and coordinate member communications including invitations renewal materials and program updates
- Leverage Data: Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Tessitura preferred) and support reporting on membership activity and engagement trends
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Development Marketing Events and other departments to ensure aligned and effective program delivery
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 46 years of experience in fundraising membership or donor engagement
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with volunteers donor communities or membership programs
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Tessitura preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative mindset and attention to detail
