Job Summary
Job Summary
Responsible for providing outpatient assessment counseling and psychological services. Makes referrals as appropriate.
Essential Functions
Provides assessment counseling and referrals for children adolescents individual adults and couples for family substance abuse mental health career and other areas.
Establishes and maintains open professional and positive communications in all aspects of job performance
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and development by participation in staff meetings in-services activities and educational programs for improvement of skills and to maintain competencies and licensure requirements.
Interfaces with community personnel and professionals including teachers physicians and health care providers probation officers pastors and attorneys.
Committed to the continuous improvement of the client experience which includes patient safety quality of care and excellent service. Adheres to the organizations published values.
Qualifications
Required
Masters Degree in counseling psychology social work or related field.
Two semesters of direct counseling experience. (May be obtained during pre-degree internship.)
Must possess a high level of knowledge of counseling techniques
CRT-At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty - UNKNOWN Unknown
