Design Engineer – Formwork

Role Summary

The Design Engineer Formwork is responsible for producing accurate timely and compliant formwork designs that support factory production and project requirements. The role contributes to the delivery of shell plans formwork drawings and associated design outputs in line with agreed programmes standards and specifications.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare formwork designs drawings and related documentation in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Deliver shell plans and formwork drawings in line with agreed production schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure designs comply with approved specifications drawings and production constraints.
• Coordinate with Business Development and internal stakeholders to support drawing preparation and submissions.
• Support the effective use of design tools software and equipment required to perform assigned duties.
• Maintain accurate orderly and up-to-date records of all design documentation.
• Protect the confidentiality of all company information documentation and design data.
• Proactively raise design issues clashes or constraints to the appropriate line manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes standards and ways of working.

Authority & Responsibility

• Responsible for the accuracy quality and timeliness of assigned design outputs.
• Accountable for managing personal workload in line with project and production priorities.
• Required to follow established procedures and escalate issues that may impact quality safety cost or programme.

General

• Maintain professional conduct and good housekeeping within the design office.
• Use company equipment software and systems responsibly and in accordance with policy.
• Work flexibly to support business and project needs when required.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably related to the role as assigned by Management.
