Support Specialist L1, POS (Australia)
Job Summary
- Mid-level support professional to handle Food and Beverage point-of-sale software (POS) support in hotel and restaurant environments for Australia.
- Support includes understanding Food and Beverage operations gathering user requirements and installing and setting up equipment (e.g. servers).
- This includes workstations printers and other relevant devices as well as system configuration site surveys equipment and remote system testing and basic documentation.
- Knowledge of network cable connections for multiple hardware devices is required.
- Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational workflow.
- Report on the additional functional requests from customers to our internal Product and Development team.
- Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer.
- Work coordination with various internal technical teams such as Product Team / Implementation Team / Development Team etc.
- Remote based support of all Shiji applications and hardware.
- Support scheduled after hours on-call roster.
Qualifications :
- An understanding of and a minimum of 2 years experience in the Hospitality Industry.
- Previous experience with software troubleshooting hardware and software installation/upgrades.
- IT Knowledge a plus.
