Role Overview
We are hiring a L2 Wintel / Cloud Support Engineer to manage and support enterprise Windows and Cloud infrastructure in a 24x7 operations environment. The role involves handling escalated incidents maintaining system availability and ensuring smooth IT operations across on-prem and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for Windows Server and Cloud (Azure/O365) environments
Handle incident troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution within SLA timelines
Manage Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy file services
Support Azure infrastructure (VMs storage networking) and O365 services
Perform patching upgrades system monitoring and performance tuning
Execute Change Incident and Problem Management processes (ITIL aligned) if required on odd hours.
Work with L3 teams and vendors for complex issue resolution
Maintain documentation SOPs and knowledge base
Required Skills
Strong experience in Windows Server Administration (AD DNS DHCP GPO)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Azure / O365 administration
Experience in incident management and troubleshooting (L2 level)
Understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
Knowledge of backup patch management antivirus VPM
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix/Azure Monitor preferred)
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
Qualification
B.E./ / BCA / MCA or equivalent
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft / Azure / ITIL
Key Expectations
Availability for 24x7 rotational shifts (including night/weekend support)
