Our current client is a global leader in airport ground services and air cargo handling. On their behalf we are looking for an experienced Accountant who is fluent in German and ready for new opportunities. Responsibilities:

• Accurate posting of bank statements and accounts payable transactions;
• Support in preparation and submission of VAT returns;
• Booking and verification of travel expenses in line with company policies;
• Posting accrual-related business transactions and general ledger entries;
• Support in accounts receivable activities (nice to have);
• Contribution to monthly and quarterly reporting processes;
• Assistance in implementing a new digital data room and documentation structure;
• Active involvement in optimizing and digitalizing accounting processes.

Requirements:

• Completed commercial education;
• German and English language (B2/C1);
• 15 years of professional experience in accounting or finance;
• Solid experience with accounts payable and bank postings;
• Knowledge of accruals and general ledger accounting;
• Initial exposure to accounts receivable and reporting is an advantage.
