On their behalf we are looking for an experienced Accountant who is fluent in German and ready for new opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Accurate posting of bank statements and accounts payable transactions;
- Support in preparation and submission of VAT returns;
- Booking and verification of travel expenses in line with company policies;
- Posting accrual-related business transactions and general ledger entries;
- Support in accounts receivable activities (nice to have);
- Contribution to monthly and quarterly reporting processes;
- Assistance in implementing a new digital data room and documentation structure;
- Active involvement in optimizing and digitalizing accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Completed commercial education;
- German and English language (B2/C1);
- 15 years of professional experience in accounting or finance;
- Solid experience with accounts payable and bank postings;
- Knowledge of accruals and general ledger accounting;
- Initial exposure to accounts receivable and reporting is an advantage.
