Provide Mechanical Engineering services for multi-discipline building design and other systems projects across commercial institutional and government clients. Example projects: HVAC & utility systems wastewater treatment lab hoods and energy efficiency upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all phases of mechanical design from concept through construction documents
- Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and calculations
- Select and lay out mechanical systems exploring alternative approaches
- Conduct code analyses and coordinate with other disciplines
- Participate in client meetings to define project scope
- Supervise and guide support staff
- Provide construction-phase engineering support
- Assist with bidding processes
Requirements:
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
- 2 years experience in mechanical systems design
- EIT certification or eligibility
- Knowledge of building systems codes Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD
- U.S. Citizen able to obtain security clearance
