Overview

Join a stable and growing manufacturing operation as an Electro-Mechanical Technician supporting high-performance production equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong experience in electrical systems PLC troubleshooting hydraulics pneumatics and industrial equipment repair.

You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring equipment reliability minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot repair and maintain electrical electronic and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Install wire and commission electrical controls panels breakers motors transformers and conduit systems
  • Perform testing adjustments and preventive maintenance on production machinery
  • Dismantle equipment and replace defective electrical or mechanical components (e.g. brushes armatures)
  • Support installation and maintenance of power distribution and water systems
  • Conduct basic mechanical repairs to support equipment uptime
  • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work track repairs and locate parts
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams; may assist in guiding junior technicians as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree (2-year) in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics Industrial Maintenance or related field
  • 4 years of hands-on industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience
  • Strong experience troubleshooting PLC systems electrical circuits and control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical power systems and mechanical repair work
  • Hands-on experience using a CMMS (work orders parts lookup maintenance tracking)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks (standing bending stooping climbing as required)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen physical exam and background check

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment experience
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting and machine control systems exposure
  • Experience in installing and commissioning industrial automation equipment
