Position Overview:

This firm is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing design to join their team. The right candidate brings solid consulting engineering experience strong technical fundamentals and a steady work history. PE licensure is preferred but not required what matters most is direct experience in the design of commercial and institutional mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed mechanical system design including system approach equipment selection and mechanical room layout
• Complete project drawings specifications calculations and equipment selection
• Produce 3D Revit models and/or 2D CAD drawings
• Coordinate and interface directly with clients and design teams
• Receive project assignments from Principals Associates or Project Managers and execute through completion
• Support construction administration as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year engineering degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing design preferably in a consulting engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional building mechanical systems
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with mechanical national codes standards and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook Excel etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• PE license preferred; actively pursuing licensure is a plus
• Steady work history and direct consulting engineering experience required

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary: $85000 $120000 depending on experience and licensure
