Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the repair maintenance and optimization of manufacturing equipment and production machinery. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and basic electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. A valid Journeymans card is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues by observing operation and identifying faults
- Disassemble machinery to inspect repair or replace worn or defective components
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic presses and production systems
- Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication cleaning and adjustment of equipment
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes drill presses and grinders to fabricate or repair parts
- Conduct basic electrical repairs and assist with PLC troubleshooting
- Test the equipment after repair to ensure proper performance and safety compliance
- Interpret technical documents assembly drawings and maintenance manuals
- Initiate parts requests and support inventory/purchasing needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeymans Card in an approved mechanical/electrical trade (required)
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
- Proven experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems especially presses
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic PLC systems
- Experience with arc welding lathe and milling machine operation
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic computer skills (email Microsoft Outlook online manuals/research)

- PLC troubleshooting (entry to intermediate)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic ability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Standing walking climbing bending and working in mechanical environments
- Exposure to moving machinery noise vibration and occasional electrical/chemical hazards
Work Environment
Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to mechanical equipment and production machinery. Safety procedures and PPE use are required at all times.
